Box Score MANCHESTER, N.H. (Jan. 29) – The Saint Anselm College women's ice hockey team skated past Nichols, 6-0, Saturday afternoon in an ECAC Women's East game at Sullivan arena. With the win the Hawks improve to 15-4-0 overall and 9-3-0 in conference play, while Nichols dips to 3-15-0 overall and 2-10-0 in league games.

Sarah Ellins gave the Hawks the lead just 37 seconds into the game, but Rigosi stood tall for the remainder of the frame, making 16 saves. Saint Anselm went 2-for-2 on the power play to take a 3-0 lead into the second intermission on goals by Courtney Winters and Sami Tatu.
Molly Corl, Alexa Hingston and Kristen Byrne added tallies for the Hawks in the third, with Byrne leading all scorers on the night with a goal and three assists. Kathryn Picarell was a top playmaker with three assists.
Saint Anselm held a 48-10 shot advantage in the game, and held the Bison scoreless on the power play (0-4) while ending the night 2-for-3 with the skater advantage.
Nichols continues its road trip next weekend with games at Castleton State and New England College, taking on the Spartans Friday at 7 p.m. in Vermont, and the Pilgrims Saturday a 1 p.m. in Henniker, N.H.
