Bison Fall to Curry

Jessica Porter scored a career-high seven goals in the loss.

Box Score MILTON, Mass.- The Nichols women's lacrosse team dropped a 28-11 decision to Curry on Tuesday in The Commonwealth Coast Conference action. The Colonels improve to 10-3 overall and 5-2 in the conference while the Bison fall to 4-7 overall and 1-6 in TCCC action.

Ashley Sherman led the way with seven goals for Curry while Meghan Tilley added six. In all, nine players scored the Colonels, who led 16-9 at halftime. Junior Jessica Porter (Melrose, Mass.) led Nichols with a career-high seven goals. Senior Stephanie Tenczar (West Springfield, Mass.) and junior Ashley Bell (Mansfield, Mass.) each added two.

Nichols will return home to face Rhode Island College this Thursday at 7 p.m. in non-conference action.
