Tucson, Ariz.- The Nichols softball team improved to 2-0 on the year with a 19-4 pounding of UMass-Boston at the Tucson Invitational on Monday. Senior Lauren Person struck out seven in the win while freshman Shaleese Young drove in three runs with a bases clearing double.
