Weston, Mass.- Nichols junior Chelsea Blair (Blanford, Mass.) scored both goals in a 2-0 shutout victory over Regis on Monday in TCCC women's soccer action. The Bison have now won six of their last seven games to improve to 6-2 overall and 3-1 in TCCC play. Regis remains winless at 0-8, including a 0-5 mark in the conference.

Blair scored what proved to be the game-winning goal just 3:12 into the match with freshman Nicole Johnson (Westhampton, Mass.) earning the assist from in goal. Blair added an insurance goal early in the second half while junior Sarah Levesque (Ludlow, Mass.) ensured the shutout with two saves in the half. Johnson recorded four saves in the first. Overall, Nichols out-shot the Pride 32-11.

Nichols will return to conference action this Wednesday, Sept. 26 when it hosts Anna Maria for a 4 p.m. game.
