Dudley, Mass.- Just two days after winning the 2007 Elms Invitational, the Nichols men's golf team followed up with a first place victory in a four-team match up it hosted on Thursday at Webster/Dudley Golf Course. The Bison carded a 294, 18 strokes ahead of second place finisher Tufts, which scored a 312. Wentworth placed third with a team score of 314 while Brandeis rounded things out with a 318.
Nichols junior Chris Brock (Pomfret Center, Conn) was the individual medalist as he carded a 70 on the day while junior Chris Healy (Charlton, Mass.) placed second overall with a 71. Tufts senior Dave Hunt (Boxborough, Mass.) and Wentworth freshman Rob Beattie (Foxboro, Mass) tied for third overall as they both fired a 72.
