Nichols College sophomore Chris Brock (Pomfret Center, CT) captured first place with a score of 75 at the Commonwealth Coast Conference Men's Golf Championship at Essex Country Club on Tuesday. Brock finished one stroke ahead of second place finisher Garat Seney (Bow, NH) of host Endicott, which won the team title with an overall score of 315. Nichols placed second with a score of 320 while Wentworth was a distant third with a 336.

Sophomore Chris Healy (Charlton, MA) tied for fourth as he shot a 79 on the day. Senior Ryan Kettle (Coventry, RI) tied for seventh with an 82. Senior Nick Slocum (Warwick, RI) tied for 12th with an 84 while freshman Pat Pio (Somers, CT) rounded things out with an 85, which tied him for 15th overall.
