DUDLEY, Mass.- Senior Kiersten Hess (Santa Barbara, Calif.) scored a pair of goals while junior Kristen Groff (Lititz, Pa.) assisted on all three of Gordon's goals, in a 3-0 shutout victory over host Nichols on Saturday in TCCC action. The Fighting Scots improve to 11-5-1 overall and 8-3-1 in the conference while the Bison slip to 8-10 overall and 5-8 in TCCC play.

Groff hooked up with Hess for two goals in the first half, the first coming just 4:18 into the game off a cross. The duo connected inside the box with 1:50 left until halftime to give Gordon a 2-0 lead at the half.

Junior Lauren Enright (Santa Barbara, Calif.) added a third goal for the Fighting Scots midway through the second half when Groff delivered in another cross that Enright was able to one-touch.

In net, freshman Nicole Johnson (Westhampton, Mass.) posted five first half saves while junior Sarah Levesque (Ludlow, Mass.) recorded six in the second.

The Bison will wrap up regular season play this Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. when it hosts Framingham State.
