Milton, Mass.- The Nichols men's soccer team got to within one, 3-2, after being down 3-0, but could not get the equalizer as Curry walked away with a 3-2 win on Thursday in TCCC action. The Colonials took a quick 2-0 lead by the 7:19 mark and added a third goal later in the half. Nichols' Ryan Johnston (Woodstock, Conn.) scored on a penalty kick right before the half to make it a 3-1 contest. An own goal by Curry early in the second allowed the Bison to get to within one but neither team managed to get on the scoreboard the rest of the way. Curry is now 6-8-3 overall and 4-4-3 in the conference while Nichols is 5-11-1 overall and 2-9-1 in TCCC play.
