Uxbridge, Mass.- Bryant University took top team honors at the 2007 Bison Invitational hosted by Nichols College on Wednesday at Blissful Meadows Golf Club in Uxbridge, Mass. The Bulldogs carded a 305 while Springfield was second with a 313. Nichols took third with a 314 while Tufts and Brandeis rounded out the top five with scores of 318 and 324, respectively. Nichols Nick Reinert (Cromwell, Conn) and Bryant's Alex Daley (Hudson, Mass.) took home medalist honors as they both fired a one-over par 73 on the 6,588 yard course.
Bryant's Ian Nicoll (Longmeadow, Mass.) took third with a 75 while Suffolk's Chris Gray and Springfield's Michael LaJoie (Enfield, Conn.) tied for fourth. Overall, Bryant, and Springfield placed four in the top 20 while Nichols and Tufts each had three.
