Monte was named the ECAC Northeast Player of the Week after helping lead the Bison to two road victories last week. In a 5-3 win at Framingham State, he tallied one goal and two assists while in a 3-2 victory at Stonehill he recorded one goal and assisted on the game-winner.

With his assist on Saturday, Monte tied teammate Zeke Costello’s (Shelby Township, MI) record of 29 assists in a season and also moved into third place on Nichols all-time point-scoring list. In 74 career games, Monte has recorded 66 goals (tied for second all-time at Nichols) and 59 assists (seventh all-time at Nichols). He is also now just eight points away from setting a new record for points in a season (54).
