Molly Ferraro helped the Bison to a pair of CCC sweeps as she spent 32 innings in the circle and went 2-for-3 at the plate last week in her first at-bats of the season. Ferraro did not allow an earned run in the opener on Monday at Gordon as she set down 5 batters via the strikeout. She went on to strike out three more Fighting Scots in the nightcap. The pitcher surrendered only one run in the first game on Saturday versus Eastern Nazarene before helping the Bison take the twinbill from the Lions as she hit a double, an RBI single and scored a pair of runs while also tossing five innings in the victory. Ferraro struck out a total of 20 batters on the week while posting a 2.41 ERA.
