Nichols College Athletics

Chelsea Correia Helped the Nichols College Women’s Softball team to a 4-2 week. Chelsea helped Nichols split games at Roger Williams. In a losing effort in the first game Chelsea had an early RBI double to score a run. She finished the first game with a double and a RBI. But in the second game Chelsea went 2-4 scoring two runs helping her team to a 6-3 victory. Chelsea then was a big part of a sweep vs. UNE. Chelsea hit a game winning sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eight to help her team win. She also batted 3-4 in the game and hit a two run homerun giving her four RBI’s in the game. Chelsea also played well in the second game of the double header going 2-3 with a run to help Nichols win 3-1. Chelsea finished her week off with a hit, RBI and 2 runs in a 6-5 win vs. WPI.
