Sophomore Austin Martin batted an average of .536, slugging percentage of .821, and an on-base percentage of .567 in the Bison’s eight game stretch in Florida. Martin also pitches and was credited a win in one of their games against Hilbert. On the week, Martin batted in 13 runs and clocked the ball for six doubles and a triple. He also connected with 4 hits in each of the last two games. The Bison finished up the week with a 5-3 record.
