Burrillville, R.I. – Senior Don Kane (Staten Island, N.Y.) paced the Hawks with a pair of goals and senior Branden Parkhouse (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) had a four point afternoon with a goal and three assists as Becker snapped a three-game skid with a 6-3 triumph over host Nichols in the second annual Worcester City Shootout on Saturday afternoon at Levy Rink. With the win, Becker evens out at 3-3-0 on the year while the Bison, receiving votes in the D3hockey.com Men's Top 15 poll, slip to 4-2-0 overall.
Both Nichols and Becker await the result of the nightcap between Worcester State and Assumption. The Hawks will play the winner at 3:10 p.m. while the consolation game begins at 12:10 p.m.

Becker lit the lamp three times in the middle frame beginning with a power play marker with 37 remaining on a five minute power play as Don Kane potted his second marker of the day off feeds from Parkhouse and freshman Gerald Owen (Chesapeake, Va.) at 9:57. Junior Dan Kane (Staten Island, N.Y.) delivered the second power play goal of the afternoon as he tipped in a shot by Owen from the blue line with 2:49 left in the period. Just over two minutes later Graham put the visitors on top 4-2 as he received a pass from Parkhouse at 19:16. For the period, Becker outshot the hosts 13-5 and scored twice on four power plays.
Parkhouse deposited his fifth goal of the year with help from Graham to extend the Hawks lead to 5-2 at 2:38 in the third period. Nichols sophomore

Nichols ended the game with a 30-26 edge on shots courtesy of a 15-5 bugle in the final period while each team went 1-for-1 on the power play.
