DUDLEY, Mass. – Nichols College first-year Tyler Beasley (Indianapolis, Ind.) was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Northeast Rookie of the Week for his performance the week ending Sunday, November 11, 2012.
 
Beasley accounted for two goals in a 6-1 Bison victory at Division II Stonehill on Tuesday. His first collegiate marker came on a power play with 47 seconds left in the first period. The rookie also netted the final Nichols tally of the game less than three minutes into the second.

“Tyler has had a great start for us,” commented head coach Kevin Swallow. “We expect him to be an impact player for us this season. (It's) not very often can a freshman step in and contribute every night but Tyler has that potential.”
  
Nichols (3-0-0, 1-0-0 ECAC Northeast) travels to the New England Sports Center to face Becker (2-1-0, 0-1-0 ECAC Northeast) at 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday.
